Co-Founder

Philippes Lattes

After spending 25 years in the space industry, specializing in the design and manufacturing of Earth observation satellites (now Airbus DS), Philippe Lattes joined Aerospace Valley, the leading European innovation cluster for aerospace, based in Toulouse. Aerospace Valley brings together more than 800 stakeholders in the aerospace sector, including over 100 in the space domain, making it one of the largest concentrations of space actors worldwide. During his 11-year tenure at Aerospace Valley, Philippe served as Head of the Space Sector, overseeing satellite design, manufacturing, and services using space data (navigation, Earth observation, telecommunications…). He also spearheaded initiatives to foster new services and applications, including a dedicated incubator (ESA BIC Sud France), student competitions (ActInSpace), and innovation support systems in partnership with CNES, ESA, and the European Commission. Since September 2021, Philippe serves as an international consultant in the field of space and its applications, with a focus on developing countries.

Co-Founder

Guillaume Ferré

Guillaume Ferré earned a PhD in digital communications and signal processing from the University of Technology of Limoges in 2006. From 2006 to 2008, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the XLIM laboratory in Limoges and later at the IMS laboratory in Bordeaux. Since 2022, he has held the position of professor at ENSEIRB-MATMECA, an engineering school of Bordeaux INP, conducting research within the IMS laboratory. His research primarily focuses on circuits and systems for digital communications and RADAR systems. Guillaume has authored over 170 articles in international journals and conferences, and holds 12 patents. Currently, he supervises 6 PhD students, with a significant emphasis on industrial research. He serves on multiple technical program committees and acts as Principal Investigator (PI) for numerous national and international projects.

R&D Manager

Malek Ellouze

Head of R&D, ENSEIRB-MATMECA graduate, Ph.D. in Telecommunications (IMS, 2024). In addition to her expertise in coding theory, Malek has a strong foundation in signal processing. Her engineering background has enabled her to gain in-depth knowledge of various techniques, which she further developed by teaching courses during her Ph.D. program.

Head of Operations

Aude Nzeh Ndong

Ph.D. in Biophysics (2007), Master’s in Innovation Management (2012). With over ten years of experience supporting space startups and managing European projects (ESA, Horizon Europe, Copernicus), she has recognized expertise in financing, project management, and partnership development within the French and European space ecosystems.

Partnerships Manager

Marion Jutier

As a student in the Grande École Program at TBS Education, Marion supports LeoBlue in establishing and managing key partnerships (with institutional stakeholders, industry partners, operators, and innovation ecosystems). She is involved in identifying and vetting partners, defining the scope of collaborations, and overseeing the operational aspects of initiatives, with the aim of accelerating the implementation of concrete projects centered around our solution.

Lead Satellite Hardware Product Engineer

Hamza Abdi Said

As an RF electronics engineer, Hamza specialises in the integration, testing and validation of microwave systems. With a Master’s degree in RF electronics and telecommunications, he has extensive experience in antenna design, radio module characterisation and electromagnetic simulation in environments subject to stringent EMC constraints. At LeoBlue, he works on the design and optimisation of complete RF chains (uplink and downlink), contributing to the overall performance, robustness and reliability of the direct communication system.
